Catherine Emrick is an environmental lawyer and associate in the Calgary office of Miller Thomson.
As a full member of the Law Societies of Alberta, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories, Catherine’s practice focuses on administrative, environmental, regulatory and aboriginal law. She has experience in:
- Administrative counsel to an environmental impact review and regulatory boards;
- Mediation of complex, multi-party disputes;
- Board and staff training in principles of natural justice and procedural fairness;
- Development of legislation, regulations and rules of procedure; and
- Submissions to environmental impact review boards, regulatory applications and regulatory compliance reviews.
