Peter McArthur is a partner of the firm, practicing primarily in the areas of corporate commercial and securities law. In this capacity, he provides advice to public companies, investment brokerage firms and private corporations on all aspects of business law, with a particular focus on financial reviews, acquisitions and mergers, compliance issues, securities procedures and processes and general corporate commercial matters. Among his clients, Peter has acted on behalf of high technology, transportation, and natural resource firms as well as other start-up and well-established companies.
Peter is a graduate of Concordia University (B.Comm., 1979), and obtained his law degrees at McGill University (B.C.L., 1982; LL.B., 1983). Over a period of nine years throughout the course of his studies, he worked in various financial and administrative capacities for a national chartered bank.
Peter is active in the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch as a member of its Business Law and Securities Law sections.
